The Brashear JH Girls faced Green City in the opening round of the Green City Tournament Thursday night. Despite keeping the game close during the first half, Brashear fell behind in the 2nd half and Green City won 25-16.

The Brashear JH Boys also faced Green City in their first game. Green City quickly jumped out to a 20-2 lead and never looked back as they won by a final scored of 52-11.
